Honor Magic V2 Review: Honor has also launched their foldable phones after seeing the hype for the foldable. But, if we talk about Honor Magic V2, it’s a pure budget foldable if we compare it with Flip 5, there are pros and cons in this foldable, so, if you’re thinking of buying then read this article, in this article, I’ll share Honor Magic V2 review with its specs.

Here is the Honor Magic V2 Review with its Specs

The Honor Magic V2 Foldable

Let’s start with the Honor Magic V2, a foldable phone that might not be my number one choice. It is like the James Bond of phones – slick, sleek, and extremely trendy. It’s a premium phone and when you hold it feels bulky, and the hinge is also great, with no gap between them.

Honor Magic V2 Design

All right, let us begin with the design. This phone is a true budget foldable but when you hold this beast, you’ll feel premium and satisfied. It comes with a soft back and a frame so thin you will wonder how they managed to fit in a USB port. It is not waterproof like some others. It is magic to unfold it with one hand. Overall, the design as I mentioned earlier is a premium design with bulkiness.

Honor Magic V2 Display

The 6.43-inch OLED display on the front fills up almost the entire space, making for an excellent canvas for streaming movies and other forms of entertainment. The HDR10 and Dolby Vision support that comes with the retail version has improved the visual quality, especially for Netflix binging.

However, the real headliner is the 8-inch screen when the device is opened up. A second crispy OLED panel, provides rich colors, great contrast, and almost no crease. Unlike what some competitors offer, the crease in the Honor Magic V2 is very subtle and not easy to spot, making the display experience all the more immersive.

Honor Magic V2 Multitasking

Notably, the multitasking features are much better in the retail version. The users can now divide the screen both horizontally and vertically, making it possible to use it more freely. Transitioning between the inner and outer displays is a smooth process – all you have to do is open or close the Honor Magic V2, and your applications will automatically follow suit.

The hinge, which is an essential part of the foldable, has experienced some improvement in stiffness. This also makes it easier to prop up the device at different angles to use it hands-free.

Honor Magic V2 Performance

Powering the Honor Magic V2 under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which offers enough power to keep the performance smooth. Although the device lacks the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it performs daily tasks and demanding applications smoothly due to its effective cooling system. So, if you to perform heavy tasks like gaming, opening different apps in memory, etc this phone will not disappoint you, as it comes with the best chipset ever built that is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Honor Magic V2 Battery

The 5,000mAh battery is an ingenious engineering achievement that keeps a sleek figure while providing a full day of heavy use. The 66W fast charging support means that you can get the device charged up quickly whenever you need to. Overall on heavy usage, it will give you around 1 day of battery backup, and if you’re a normal user then 2 to 3 days easily without charging, which sounds great.

So, this was the Honor Magic V2 Review with its specs, so, if you’re looking for a foldable phone but your budget is quite tight or not that much to buy Flip 5 then you must go for this Honor foldable.
