On Sunday night, President-elect Trump revealed that Alina Habba will be joining his White House staff as the President’s counselor.
Trump posted on Truth Social, saying, “Alina has been an invaluable advisor to my Campaign and Transition Team, a tireless advocate for justice, and a fierce Defender of the Rule of Law.” “She has been unwavering in her loyalty, and unmatched in her resolve – standing with me through numerous ‘trials,’ battles, and countless days in court.”
“As a first generation American of Middle Eastern Heritage, she has become a role model for women in Law and Politics, most recently being named Chaldean Woman of the Year,” said Trump. “Congratulations to Alina, her husband Gregg, and her three beautiful children, Chloe, Luke, and Parker.”
“It was an honor of my life to serve the 45th and 47th President of the American people,” Habba replied on X.
In addition to Habba’s appointment, Trump declared that he was proposing Christopher Landau to be Secretary of State’s deputy, working with Secretary of State candidate Marco Rubio.
Trump claimed that the two would work together to advance the security and prosperity of the country by pursuing an America-first foreign policy.
