The iPad mini 7 is expected to have an improved display to address "jelly scrolling" issues.
Apple has altered the direction of the screen assembly to reduce the impact of jelly scrolling.
Despite this, the display will still be limited to 60Hz and use LCD screen technology.
The new model will feature an A16 Bionic chip, a slightly faster CPU and GPU than the A15 Bionic.
Other components in the iPad mini 7 will also be updated, including support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The new iPad mini 7 will be available in new colors and an upgraded camera.
The iPad mini 7 is expected to be released later this year, with more advanced OLED displays expected.
