Palia Players On Steam Left Frustrated By Lack Of Open Beta Indication

- Cozy MMO Palia is seeing a steady increase in players, but its Steam beta isn't getting as much traction as it could.

- because, in the opinion many players, it plays like a beta even if it doesn't say so.

-  Numerous unfavorable reviews criticizing Palia's quality have appeared on its shop page since the game's launch on Steam on the 24th.

- While many Steam reviews are harsher than even the most severe formal criticism,

- many go above and beyond the official website in alerting gamers to the fact that the game is in beta or early access.

- There is currently absolutely no official wording on the Steam page regarding Palia being in any kind of pre-release version.

- This is also stated in the game's complete description, which calls it a "cozy community sim MMO."

- Whether or not Steam genuinely needs the Early Access criteria depends on whether your game is in a similar stage of development.

- The Palia developers have clarified that "the game remains as a title still in open beta" in an update posted on the team's official blog.

- "The emphasis is that Palia is free-to-play and available for anyone to try. We're aware that there has been feedback regarding our messaging and status on various platforms," the post reads.

- "We are dedicated to providing patch updates with new content, enhancements, and bug fixes well into the future. It is a continuous, ongoing effort."
