Mythical Island, the first expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, is scheduled to launch tomorrow, or tonight, depending on your time zone. With the Mythical Island limited expansion, the game will get over 80 new cards, some of which are already being previewed.
We know that the expansion will feature at least three Mythical Pokémon, including Celebi, Marshadow, and a new Mew ex card, among probably more. With these new cards, there will undoubtedly be dozens of new deck combinations. More significantly, there will be a ton of cards to collect through the in-game random pack pulls. However, when will you be able to begin collecting these new cards? Fortunately, the release date of the Mythical Island expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket is quickly approaching, and we have all the details.
Release Dates for the Pokémon TCG Pocket Mythical Island Expansion
On December 17, 2024, at 1:00 am EST, Pokémon TCG Pocket will launch the Mythical Island expansion. Accordingly, it will be released on December 17 for the majority of the world, but late on December 16 for PST.
The time in your time zone is as follows:
PST on Monday, December 16 at 10:00 p.m.
EST – 1:00 am BRT – 3:00 am GMT – 6:00 am CET – 7:00 am IST – 11:30 am CST (China) – 2:00 pm CST (US) – 12:00 am midnight
JST/KST: 3 p.m.
5:00 p.m. AEDT and 7:00 p.m. NZDT
Players will be able to select cards from the Mythical Island pack, which appears to include just one booster pack type in contrast to the Genetic Apex set, after the game is live, which will occur during the daily update. Alongside the cards, additional missions, themed collections, card dex awards, and iconography will probably be added.
