‘Yellowstone’ director and executive producer Christina Alexandra Voros has hinted at a dramatic Season 5B ending. Fans can anticipate a conclusion that is both “unexpected and inevitable” in light of the startling turns in Episode 11.
Following a heated and emotional altercation with Jamie (Wes Bentley), fans were shocked in disbelief by the assassination of Sarah Atwood (Dawn Olivieri). Voros has confirmed that the final episodes will see the characters reach their “boiling point,” so expect temperatures to spike in the upcoming three episodes.
Despite fan speculations that predicted a confrontation with Beth (Kelly Reilly), Voros gave her opinion on the stunning death in an interview with Variety. “The reason Sarah’s death is so terrible is that it occurs immediately after a moment of vulnerability.
You start to question whether her feelings for Jamie are sincere, and then you get the most surprising response,” she added.
“This episode is about characters being blindsided,” Voros told the portal as well. He continued, “Whether it’s Beth and Kayce (Luke Grimes) confronting the precariousness of their position or Jamie reeling from betrayal, the sense of imminent upheaval is the heartbeat of this chapter.”

Despite the fact that the Yellowstone storyline has not yet been formally confirmed by Paramount Network, Season 5 has long been promoted as the show’s last installment, especially after Kevin Costner’s departure as John Dutton.
“Only by reaching the final episodes will viewers fully grasp the depth of what has come before,” Voros said.
Every Sunday at 8 PM on Paramount Network and Monday at 10 PM on CBS, fans may see the last episodes.
