
After being removed, the Stardew Valley mod with a Baldur’s Gate 3 theme is back online. Since its initial release in 2016, Stardew Valley has endured, in part because of the material produced by devoted gamers.

Players took notice of the recently released mod dubbed Baldur’s Village, but to their astonishment, Wizards of the Coast decided against it.

Now that the well-liked Stardew Valley Baldur’s Gate 3 mod is back on Nexus Mods, that has changed. Wizards of the Coast claims in a statement to PC Gamer that the Stardew Valley mod, which gained popularity very fast, was inadvertently removed because the DMCA notification was delivered in error. The mod was removed, however it was still listed as “under moderation review.” To the delight of gamers, it can now be downloaded once more. Swen Vincke, the CEO of Larian, praised the prompt resolution in a tweet, referring to it as “a good ending.” He said that he would want to see it further developed.
Baldur’s Gate 3-Based Stardew Valley Mod is Back in Stock

Due to its popularity, players of Stardew Valley have responded favorably to the news that Baldur’s Village is once again accessible. It is set after the events of Baldur’s Gate 3 and was released in early March. More than 20 people, six new places and stores with unique merchandise, dynamic events, and more are included, according to the official description. Making Astarion, one of the most adored characters in Baldur’s Gate 3, completely romantic is another highlight of the mod. Future upgrades for the mod are also planned by its makers. They do stress, though, that this portion is dependent on funding, downloads, Nexus Mods endorsements, and addressing problems like piracy, reselling, and re-uploads.
The first patch for Stardew Valley in 2025 was 16.15.1, which was released in December of last year after update 1.6.15. The update, which was made available on February 12, corrected a number of bugs that were hurting the game’s console version and brought it up to speed with the most recent PC material. Meanwhile, players of Larian’s RPG are anticipating Patch 8, which will bring 12 new subclasses to Baldur’s Gate 3 along with additional gameplay features including photo mode and cross-play.
