
The New York Post reports that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman made a sly jab at Elon Musk during a discussion at the annual Sun Valley Conference on Tuesday, July 8, in response to the Tesla CEO’s recent rift with former President Donald Trump.

In 2015, Sam Altman and Musk co-founded OpenAI, however they split up in 2018 due to disagreements about the company’s goals and direction. Musk is said to have demanded greater authority and a change from the non profit organization’s structure, which finally resulted in his resignation and the start of an ongoing public feud.
Since then, their conflict has come to light in court cases and scathing public remarks.

Trump and Musk, who were once politically linked, are now publicly at conflict.
