Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 Review: Many laptops have been launched in FY 2024, but there are few that stand out as all-rounder laptops. Recently an allrounder laptop was introduced by Dell, Inspiron 14 Plus 7440, this laptop has many USPs like it’s lightweight, gives great performance, has many connectivity features and many more. If you’re looking for editing, school/college work, or a laptop for office work then Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 might be a great choice. So, in this article, I’ll share a Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 review with its features and specs.

Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 Review & Specs

Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 Design

Dell has mainly targeted that audience which is looking for a lightweight and compact laptop. If we see the design then, Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 is a small brother of Inspiron 14 Plus. If we talk about its design and weight then it comes with traditional Dell laptop designs and looks which looks quite premium and weighs 1.60kg. From the front, the laptop has a glimpse of the MacBook Air m1, with the same trackpad and design. Overall, it’s a small laptop that can be carried anywhere without any weight issues, as I mentioned earlier, this laptop would be a great choice for school/college students and office work.

Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 Display

Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 comes with a 14-inch 2.2K (2240*1400) anti-glare display with a peak brightness of 300 nits. The display of the laptop have some crispiness, in my opinion, if we see the price point then this laptop display is better compared to other laptops that you get in the $1k price range, in short, you’ll enjoy watching movies, web series and YouTube videos on the laptop.

Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 CPU & GPU

It comes with an Intel Core i7 processor 155H which has 24 cache, 16 cores, and 22 threads up to 4.8 GHz. If we talk about GPU then it comes with intel arc graphics. In short, these specs are quite good for a laptop, if you’re an editor or getting for college or office work then don’t look here and there just grab it, it’s a good laptop, but, if you’re a gamer then I’ll not recommend to get this laptop, you can look for Asus TUF series laptops. This laptop will be good for working professionals who just want to do editing, coding, and graphic designing.

Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 Memory & Storage

Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 comes in two RAM variants: 16 Gigs LPDDR5X RAM (2*8GB), 32Gigs LPDDR5X RAM and a storage capacity of 1TB which is an M.2 PCIe NVMe solid state drive. Overall, storage and memory are sufficient, as in 2024 your laptop or PC must have 16 gigs of RAM to handle big software like Premier Pro, Alight Motion, and many more editing rendering software.

Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 Ports

Inspiron 14 Plus 7440 has almost all the necessary ports needed like 1 HDMI slot, 1 Thunderbolt 4.0, 2 YSB 3.2Gen Type A slot, 1 universal audio jack, and 1 micro SD card slot as well.
